Wellness retreats have become increasingly popular in recent years, as people seek new ways to escape the daily grind. If you’re feeling stressed or overwhelmed, it’s important to take a step back and find a way to recharge. Camp Conscious set out to accomplish just that. Based in Punta Mita, Mexico, just a few miles outside of Puerto Vallarta lies Casa De Camp Conscious, a beautiful 7-bedroom private estate right on the beach. With countless lounge chairs alongside an infinity pool and a rooftop overlooking the water, the venue is nothing shy of perfect.

Recognizing the void in a wellness space for powerful women, and capitalizing on access to such an ideal location, Camp Conscious founder Tayla Burke jumped on the opportunity to build something unique. As Tayla explains, “Camp Conscious is a safe haven created to lead and inspire others to live a healthy, well-balanced and sustainable life by empowering women to be conscious and present in their mental, physical, and emotional state.”

With an itinerary full of wellness activities ranging from guided meditation to beach front workout classes to rooftop massages, for one week, 12 lucky women called this sanctuary home. Bringing together influential women from all walks of life can be tricky, but somehow Tayla found a way to tie everyone together organically and make sure everyone felt welcome and comfortable. Whether an actress, a yoga instructor, a food blogger, or a plus size model, by the end of the trip, it seemed as if everyone had known each other for years.

To make this retreat possible, Tayla brought in 5 wellness brand partners, Medterra being the CBD partner of choice. Partnering alongside us was sunscreen company Coola, juice company Suja, beauty product company Kopari and cooking oil company Chosen Foods. Together we produced the ultimate Mexico experience. We worked our products into the itinerary subtly, mixing CBD cocktails at sunset happy hour and incorporating our Rapid Cooling Cream into the pre-flight massages. With such organic integration, the CBD conversations happened naturally and allowed us to educate on the benefits of our products without coming across too strong. The brand credibility and exposure that came of this retreat was unmeasurable. From start to finish this event was executed beautifully we can’t thank Tayla enough for the opportunity to be a part of it.
